GOPAC Election Fund Endorses Doug Collins in Georgia U.S. Senate Race
Washington, DC – Today, the GOPAC Election Fund has added Congressman Doug Collins (GA-09) for U.S. Senate to our Twenty in ’20 program.
GOPAC Chairman David Avella stated, “Doug Collins has proven his commitment to advancing ideas that improve the personal and economic security of Americans. His experience serving in the U.S. House and Georgia House will bring a much-needed perspective as President Trump and the U.S. Senate work to assist state governments in getting us past coronavirus. Equally, as a small business owner and Air Force Reserve chaplain, he understands the opportunities and challenges before us as we seek to restore our take-home-pay and retirement accounts.”
In this November’s special election, Collins is seeking to complete the final two years of former Senator Johnny Isakson’s term. Senator Isakson resigned in August 2019 due to health reasons.
“I’ve been in the trenches with GOPAC for many years and they are tireless in their support of freedom and conservative values,” said Congressman Collins. “I’m proud to have their endorsement and their friendship, and their support will be a huge help for our campaign.”
The Twenty in ‘20 program supports GOPAC-affiliated leaders running for the U.S. Senate and House in their primary and general elections. Endorsed candidates receive the maximum allowable federal contribution from the GOPAC Election Fund. Further, the GOPAC Election Fund investors and supporters are encouraged to donate directly to each endorsed candidate. The candidates are also eligible for GOPAC Election Fund independent expenditures.
