This weekend, Israel’s army foiled a potential mass-casualty attack when it killed four heavily armed terrorists from Gaza attempting to cross the border into Israel. The terrorists were armed with RPG grenade launchers, AK-47 assault rifles, and hand grenades.
This incident is yet another reminder of the ongoing dangers Israelis face from determined enemies across its borders.
In the last two years alone, more than 1,900 rockets and projectiles have been fired at Israel from Gaza, while 16 terror tunnels that infiltrated into Israeli territory were found and destroyed.
Across its northern border, Israel has confronted Syrian drones, Iranian missiles and fighter jets, as well as additional terror tunnels.
Meanwhile, Iran has resumed increasing its stockpile of low enriched uranium while orchestrating attacks through terrorist proxies that have targeted Israel, our military, and oil tankers in the region.
