Dear John,

The Democratic National Convention is over and now we need to focus on getting Kamala Harris and Tim Walz to the White House. After my week in Chicago, I’m even more fired up than before to elect Democrats across the country—taking back our Democratic majority in Congress, and ensuring the Harris-Walz ticket wins big in November.

There is a new sense of hope in the air after hearing the inspiring speeches from President Biden, President Obama and Michelle Obama, Governor Tim Walz, and especially after hearing from Vice President Harris on her plans for our country’s future. Now, we have less than 70 days to take the energy and hope we are all reveling in and turn it into money raised and votes cast.

August is ending this week, and with the end of the month comes a new end-of-month deadline we have to meet. Our Democratic leaders have already told you how they plan on protecting our rights and democracy—now it’s time to support them. Can you chip in $25 today to help us meet our goal and elect a Democratic majority to back President Harris?

This month was historic for many reasons. We nominated the first Black woman and person of AANHPI descent as candidate for president. Brand new donors are signing up to support the Harris-Walz ticket, and every day, more and more volunteers are recruited.

We have the opportunity to make even more history in November, but we need to make sure we raise enough money to support the Vice President and take back the House.
