Early this morning we sent an email
you may have missed. August is over and we are going full bore into
the general election in this historic moment of deep discontent with
the parties of war and Wall Street.
This month we have had some
fantastic news on multiple fronts that we’ve shared with you: we
announced a great Vice Presidential pick, Butch Ware; Jill and Butch
won the Green Party US nomination overwhelmingly; and we defeated
multiple attempts by the anti-Democratic party to kick Jill and Butch
off the ballot in states like Nevada, Wisconsin, and
Georgia. Because of the support of people like you,
millions of people in those states will have an anti-genocide,
pro-worker, climate emergency candidate to vote for in
November.
But we are at the end of August and
almost to the end of ballot access efforts, and we are still short of
our critical end-of-month goal to keep our grassroots campaign
fighting for ballot lines in the last few states.
Friend, we need everyone to chip
in what they can before tonight’s fundraising deadline to make sure
Jill and Butch stay on track during this critical time in the
campaign:
