John, my father was born in Poland. When he was just 4 years old, he came to the United States as a Holocaust survivor and refugee of World War II.

To this day, I carry the values he passed on to me. He dedicated his life to service to others and always stressed the value of a good education. That's why he got a Regents Scholarship to Columbia University and became an aviator in the U.S. Navy. His story is one of hard work and determination – of perseverance through the worst of human cruelty and violence.

In my work in Congress, I look to him for inspiration – so, as the first Democrat in Chester County to hold a national seat in more than 165 years, I'm not going to let the GOP replace me with a far-right challenger who would inevitably be a rubber stamp on the chaos and harmful policies of Republicans in Washington. We've got A LOT of work to do if we want to defend our progress in November. Here's where things stand:
FIRST: The GOP rallied their millionaire donors to target key Democratic seats like mine across the country.
THEN: My opponent is someone who said recently “I want to align myself with President Trump and his ideas.
NOW: If we can't gather enough resources to resist the GOP's attacks, we'll risk losing this seat and all of the incredible progress we've made.
John, I've dedicated my service in the House to making life better for all Pennsylvanians. I do this for my family and yours. But right now, with so much up against us, I'm counting on this team to make sure we can continue this progress.

To power my campaign, we set a goal to raise $5,000 by our end-of-month deadline. Missing this goal today could cost us everything. So please: Will you chip in $5, $25, whatever you're able to before midnight so that we can reach this goal and defend our seat and the future of PA-06?
