We’re just hours away from our August Fundraising Deadline, so I decided to take a quick look at our ActBlue.

It’s not great:

This is the last time I’ll be emailing you this month, so it’s our last chance to reach out to supporters and make the case that giving a grassroots donation before midnight could make or break this race.

Polling shows that our race is a dead heat. That means I’m currently TIED with Republican Larry Hogan.

And there is nothing that would make Larry Hogan and his backers happier than for us to come up short and be forced to scale back our ads and grassroots operations.

We can’t let that happen, which is why I’m asking for your help before midnight: Will you please chip in $25 toward our End-of-Month goal to help us break the tie, pull ahead, and keep this seat in Democratic hands?
