Dear John,

It was a slower week than usual with Congress in recess, but I’m here as
always to keep you in the loop on how I am fighting for our conservative values.

On Sunday, I joined Speaker Mike Johnson as we visited the burned Third
Precinct in Minneapolis—a remnant of the 2020 Black Lives Matter riots. It is a
scar on our state—a stark reminder of why Tim Walz is wholly unequipped to be
Vice President. How could we trust a man who surrendered his own community to a
violent mob? During the ensuing chaos, it was more than buildings that
burned—it was people’s livelihoods. We all witnessed scenes of looting and
pillaging that were more akin to a medieval sacking than a movement for
justice. For me and so many Minnesotans, that is the defining image of this
presidential ticket: a vice president who surrendered to criminals, and a
presidential nominee who bailed them out.

On Monday, the House Judiciary Committee published an admission by Facebook
Founder and CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, that his platform throttled the Hunter Biden
laptop story in 2020 due to pressure from the Biden-Harris administration.
House Republicans pledged to hold the Biden-Harris administration accountable
for weaponizing federal agencies. We pursued the truth and exposed this abuse
of government power. As a victory for free speech, Zuckerberg expressed
"regret" for giving in to the demands of the Biden-Harris administration and
pledged that they had changed their policies so that this would not happen
again.

As many of us enjoy our holiday weekend, let’s remember why we have Monday
off: to honor the incredible men and women of America’s workforce. These are
the builders, pipefitters, masons, and welders, among so many others, who
support our communities and drive our economy forward. As your representative,
I’m committed to fighting for pro-growth, America-First policies that ensure
our workers have the opportunities they deserve and that our economy remains
strong.

As always, please contact my office if you have any questions about my record
or my votes, or if there is anything we can help with. Thank you for your
continued support and enjoy the weekend!

With gratitude,
