Hey John, did you see Governor Roy Cooper’s email about our critical end-of-month fundraising deadline?

He reached out last night because he knows that Josh is the candidate who will continue to put North Carolina on a path of progress and fight for our future.

So please, read Governor Cooper’s message below, then click here to rush a $15 donation before tonight’s end-of-month deadline. [[link removed]]DONATE NOW [[link removed]]

John, serving as North Carolina’s Governor has been both the honor and challenge of my professional life. There is a tremendous responsibility to being an elected leader. Every day, I go to work and try to do right by our state. Every day, I think about what we can do better.

I know that we still face real challenges. We still have to do more to provide affordable and accessible health care. We have to restore abortion rights. We have to secure access to the ballot box. We have to fully fund our public schools.

None of that will happen if Mark Robinson wins the race to succeed me.

Robinson obsesses in conspiracy theories, misogyny and bigotry. And he is a rubber stamp for the most dangerous ideologies of the far right.

He has no business near the office of Governor.

North Carolina’s gubernatorial contest is the most competitive in the country — and Republicans see it as a top pick-up opportunity. National GOP groups have already poured in more than $10 million to win this critical race despite their candidate’s extremism, so Democrats like us must unite in response. I am personally asking if you can contribute to support our Democratic nominee, Josh Stein, and keep Robinson OUT of the Governor’s Office >>> [[link removed]]

I’m term limited so I can’t run again this time, but I have complete faith that Josh Stein — a longtime public servant — is the best choice for the job. I have known and worked with him for the past 24 years. Josh will uphold our rights and defend our democracy. He will go to work and think of the people — not his own pride or power.

I’m determined to help him win.

I know firsthand how hard it is to win a statewide race in North Carolina. I’ve also seen firsthand just what kind of an impact people-power can have on competitive races like this one. We can win this, John — together.

Josh is facing an end-of-month deadline at midnight tomorrow, and with only a matter of weeks left in this race, he truly needs our support to face the influx of GOP cash pouring into North Carolina.

Josh will keep up the fight for us. Please, donate to his campaign before tomorrow’s deadline to help elect him as our next Governor. [[link removed]]
