Hi,
Trump-appointee Louis DeJoy just announced a plan to slow down rural mail
delivery.^1 Really.
With DeJoy leading the Post Office, USPS prices have gone up time and time
again, mail delivery has already slowed down, and major service
disruptions have impacted cities like Atlanta. DeJoy has faced criticism
for mail slow downs during the 2020 election.^2 And he’s still in charge!
Dysfunction at the USPS is unacceptable — especially in a year where tens
of millions of people are relying on the mail for voting. It’s time for
Congress to put an end to DeJoy’s USPS privatization plan.

FIRE Louis DeJoy.

DeJoy keeps saying there’s no other way to keep the Post Office running
without charging consumers more, slowing down service, and slashing hours
for committed USPS workers. Now, he says that rural mail service needs to
slow down. But we know destroying USPS service is no way to keep the Post
Office running.
A bipartisan coalition of 26 U.S. Senators is raising the alarm about the
Trump-appointed Postmaster General’s disastrous tenure and plans to
further degrade the USPS.^3
Even Republicans are complaining about Trump-appointed DeJoy, as
constituents struggle with ongoing mail service issues and promised post
offices in rural areas go unfinished.^4 Another knock on rural service.
Right now, especially with the election right around the corner, it’s
critically important that Congress holds DeJoy accountable.

fire DeJoy.
