If your inbox looks anything like ours do, it's probably filled with emails from campaigns and organizations asking for your financial support.

Fundraising deadlines, new polls, breaking news around the clock… we know it can get overwhelming at times.

That's why our hope is that when you get emails from Ilhan and our team, you don't take them as an annoyance, but a sign of just how important your support is to our campaign.

Now, when we look at our fundraising numbers for August, things have slowed down quite a bit since Ilhan and our grassroots movement won our primary in Minnesota earlier this month.

We planned for that, and that's okay. But the truth is, we still have important goals to meet for the weeks, months, and yes — years — ahead.

You see, all these texts and emails we send drive the overwhelming majority — over 95% — of donations to Ilhan's campaigns. And if we're going to continue building our movement in Minnesota and across the country to lay the groundwork for the campaigns to come, we need to keep our eyes on the ball.

That's why we're asking:

Can you make your next contribution — of $5 or anything you can — to stand with Ilhan and our campaign before we close the books on our August fundraising numbers tonight at midnight? Anything you can add means so much to this team.

As you know, Ilhan doesn't fund her campaigns the way a lot of her colleagues in Congress do. And that's only possible because she knows she can count on all of us to have her back when it matters most.
