Dear John,
You probably never imagined waking up one day to find the doors of your church closed. Or the government threatening pastors with criminal penalties if they held a drive-in church service.
Why would you?
This is America. And our nation was founded to protect religious freedom.
But then COVID-19 arrived.
It has affected our communities in ways no one saw coming.
But tragedy and hardship also have a way of bringing people together. And it’s when we unite that we can accomplish the most good.
That’s why #GivingTuesdayNow is so important.
#GivingTuesdayNow is a new global day of giving and unity that will take place on Tuesday, May 5, 2020. This is your chance to join with your brothers and sisters to financially support causes you are passionate about as an emergency response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19.
Weeks ago, as the reality of a nationwide shutdown set in, and governors started limiting public gatherings and issuing stay-at-home orders because of the virus, many churches were unsure of what to do.
They needed help navigating the new rules and regulations. Many called the ADF Church Alliance for help.
And they’re still calling.
We’re hearing from hundreds of churches.
Alliance Defending Freedom was founded to keep the doors open for the Gospel. And the ADF Church Alliance stands ready to defend churches when their freedom is threatened.
But we can’t do it without your help, John. It is your prayers and support that make victories protecting the Church possible.
Next week is #GivingTuesdayNow. Will you help defend and protect churches during these challenging times?
Stay tuned… |
