Coming off the joy and enthusiasm on display at the Democratic National Convention, I believe we’re going to win this thing.
Our party feels motivated and unified, and you can see it in the numbers. Hundreds of millions of dollars have been raised for the Harris-Walz campaign since its launch -- which was only a month ago! -- and there have been hundreds of thousands of volunteer sign-ups to help make this happen on November 5th.
We need to keep this momentum going because the next two months are on us. A victory on election night isn’t going to happen by chance and it isn’t going to happen because of a good popularity rating today or a decent poll tomorrow. It’s going to happen because we want it more, we worked harder, and we worked together.

Frankly, the alternative is frightening. Recently, Donald Trump told a group of supporters, “ We’ll have it fixed so good you’re not gonna have to vote. ”
Trump promised them that if they helped him win this year, they won’t have to vote again in four years. And there is no reason to believe that Trump is not serious.
As Americans, we don’t believe in kings. We have elections -- and we have a really important one just over two months from now. I’m not being hyperbolic when I say that our democracy is on the line.
And that means every spare ounce of our energy has to go toward winning this election.
Everyone has a role to play -- whether it’s knocking on doors; making phone calls; posting on social media; talking to your friends, family, and neighbors; or contributing to campaigns and organizations like ours.
