Our Care Can't Wait Bus Tour crossed the country this week, stopping in Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, New York, North Carolina, and Georgia – and, John, now we need your help to take our call for action into every community in the country.

Sign the Care Can't Wait petition to demand better care programs that will lower the costs for care, raise wages and conditions for care workers, and improve access to quality care for all families. --> [[link removed]]

Thanks for all you do,

P.S. Our original message is below.

John – millions of families need access to care, but it’s just SO expensive. Here's what you can do right now to make a difference: add your name to the Care Can’t Wait petition calling for lower costs for care --> [[link removed]]

Across the board, families are not able to access the care they need. Child care can cost more than $15,000 a year. Care at home for aging family members, or loved ones with a disability, can cost more than $50,000 a year.

This week, our Care Can't Wait Bus Tour is on the road to build support for the major policy changes we need to tackle the care crisis. But our bus can’t travel to every town and city, so we need your help to show lawmakers there’s support where you live.

John, can you sign the Care Can’t Wait petition to call for lower costs for care?

The numbers just don’t add up for most families, and they don’t work for care workers either. Almost 1 in 6 home care workers live in poverty and more than 40% rely on public assistance.

Many care workers can’t afford to feed their families, and face exploitation, harassment and stolen wages just to make rent. The equation is broken, and families on all sides lose out.

We're building a movement to bring down the costs of care – and celebrating what could be possible if we weren't paying tens of thousands of dollars in care each year. Imagine the relief of knowing that your loved ones are cared for without the constant financial strain — let’s use that as fuel to build pressure on lawmakers to tackle the care crisis.

Add your name to join thousands across the country fighting for better care programs that will lower the costs for care, raise wages and conditions for care workers, and improve access to quality care for all families.
