Fellow activist,
Since the change at the top of the ballot, there has been a noticeable shift in enthusiasm in the communities we center, especially the youth.
The shift in attitude was recently highlighted by our founding CEO, Kadida Kenner, in an interview with The Keystone earlier this week. She pointed out that the New Pennsylvania Project was working hard to overcome voter apathy and disheartened feelings regarding the options on the November ballot before the July 21st announcement – but that is no longer the case.
Here’s what she had to say:
“Our voter registration numbers have improved every week. Many want to take advantage of this historical opportunity. I think that is what has been the driving force, definitely on college campuses. This is a historical opportunity to vote for someone who represents the changing demographics.”
Indeed, our voter registration numbers are higher than ever before, and our work is far from over. We need your help to keep up the momentum and ensure that every single eligible person in Pennsylvania is registered to vote - centering Black, Indigenous, and other people of color, immigrant communities, and the youth (17-34 year-olds).
Will you help us reach as many voters in PA as possible by rushing $25 or more immediately? → |
