We want to hear your voice! We know how parents, guardians, caregivers, and teachers are struggling to keep kids and teens safe online while powerful social media companies use every trick to make profits and keep users addicted to their platforms.

Everyone should be aware of this unjust fight.

While many people want to turn back the clock to a time before the internet and social media, the reality is they are here to stay, and with better regulation, can be a useful and healthy part of life for adults and children alike. But we need urgent change now to make that a reality.

Reply to this email with your story, either as text or voice message, and let us know how you’re dealing with your kids’ social media use. You can use this space to tell social media companies how you really feel about them.

We prepared some questions to help guide you:

1. How old are the kids you care for?

2. Do your kids use social media? If so, which platforms? If not, why?

3. Do you worry about your kids’ safety on social media? Why?

4. Meta (owner of Instagram and Facebook) said that every kid is worth only $270 for their business during their lifetime, a third of the price of a new iPhone. How does that make you feel?

5. If you could ask social media bosses one thing, what would it be?

We will use your answers anonymously on a video and other communications materials we’re producing for this campaign. If you would like us to add your name to your quote/audio or video message, you will need to sign this consent form and send it back to us.

Let’s make social media companies, governments, and lawmakers listen to parents, guardians, teachers, and everyone else fighting on the frontline for kids’ online safety.
