I’ll give you a moment to grab your morning caffeine before I get into it. Today’s a big day, and I don’t want you to start your morning with another in what I’m sure are a huge pile of aggressive fundraising emails.

So here’s where we’re at: Tonight at midnight marks our end-of-month fundraising deadline. It also officially brings us two months out until Election Day. That means we’re really in the final stretch now.

It also means that every little thing we do — or don’t do — right now will have a consequential impact on the result of Election Day. There’s no time to waste. Do you have a moment to chip in just $5 to support Michelle Vallejo before midnight?

I’m in this with Michelle because she stands for democracy, reproductive health care, freedom, and above all, Texas. She’s a South Texan through and through, and she fights tooth and nail every single day for her community — neighbors like you and me.

But she’s up against Monica De La Cruz, a MAGA extremist who’s more concerned with currying favor with Donald Trump, Mike Johnson, and the NRCC than fighting for her community back home.

That’s why this work matters so much. That’s why every dollar you give to Michelle makes such an impact. Because the difference between another term of De La Cruz and new leadership under Michelle is the difference of status quo extremism or a better tomorrow.
