Friend, time is running out, and we need your help to protect the future of our wildlife. The Endangered Species Act (ESA) has been a beacon of hope for countless species, saving 99% of those under its protection from extinction. Yet, despite its remarkable success, the ESA is under serious threat.
Last year, we lost 21 species from the endangered list—forever gone due to extinction. This alarming trend highlights the urgent need to strengthen, not weaken, the protections we have in place.
And now, there’s a new battle on our hands.
The Montana Fish and Wildlife Commission has just increased the wolf harvest quota for this season. Under the new rules, hunting and trapping limits have been raised to 334 wolves, up by 21 from the previous season. This decision could have devastating consequences for the gray wolf population and other vulnerable species.
Members of Congress are pushing to strip protections from iconic species like the Grizzly bear and gray wolf, enabling more hunting and further endangering these animals. As habitat destruction and climate change threaten more wildlife, the ESA is more crucial than ever.
Friend, we are counting on you to make an urgent donation today to support wildlife protection and help us reach our goal. Every donation brings us one step closer to ensuring that future generations can enjoy the rich biodiversity of our planet.
