Telegram CEO Arrested: A Man Who Sheltered Child Predators Imagine a billionaire bought an island.
As he allowed people to populate the island, it became clear that predators and pedophiles were flocking to it. In fact, the island was becoming
a cesspool where criminals preyed on and tortured children in the most horrific ways.
The billionaire was well aware of this repugnant activity. But instead of striving to stop it, he set up systems to protect the criminals. He constructed private hideaways where they could continue abusing children in secret. He deliberately made it difficult for police to get to the island and investigate crimes. A man very much like this billionaire was arrested this week.

1 in 10 Minors Say Their Peers Use AI to Make Nudes of Other Children
New research from Thorn shows the horrifying prevalence of children using AI to make nudes of other children; 1 in 10 minors say their friends or classmates have done this.
AI tools such as "nudifying apps" and "deepfake" technology can allow anyone to take an innocuous image of another person and strip the image of clothing. It is terrifyingly easy, and can be done in less than 60 seconds.
When the nudified image is of a minor, it is child sexual abuse material (CSAM, the more apt term for "child pornography"), which is contraband in the United States.
