Companies want to mine the ocean's depths, despite scientists' warnings
about it.
32 countries are already against it - so let’s join them and demand the
International Seabed Authority to ban it before it's too late!

John,
Dark oxygen, a newly discovered form of oxygen deep within the Pacific
Ocean, is rewriting our understanding of life’s origins. After this
groundbreaking discovery, corporations like The Metals Company are already
pushing to mine these uncharted depths.
Despite scientists' warnings about deep-sea mining, the International
Seabed Authority (ISA) is hesitant. It has been delaying regulations that
could protect these delicate ecosystems, even though we’ve already
witnessed the devastation caused by terrestrial mining.
Disrupting this balance could trigger environmental disasters on an
unimaginable scale — and not just for marine biodiversity but for the
oxygen cycles that sustain life on Earth. 32 countries are already against
it - let’s join the pressure and demand authorities to stop this nightmare
before it begins:

Deep-sea mining is an imminent threat to the home of extraordinary
ecosystems that remain largely unexplored. Dark oxygen supports a wealth
of undiscovered species, some of which have only recently been identified.
In Latin America, for example, such exploitative practices have caused
unbelievable destruction – mining companies and their greed have caused
the worst environmental disasters in the region.
In the name of 'clean energy,' companies are poised to destroy what they
don’t fully understand, jeopardising our planet’s future. Don’t let the
pursuit of profit outweigh the preservation of life. We can stop it to
protect our oceans:

for good!
Ekō members have been pressuring and demanding the US Forest Service to
deny BlueTriton’s permit to extract water in San Bernardino National
Forest -- and we won! It's proof of what we can achieve together - let's
do it again.
