John — Donald Trump is casting doubt and crafting conspiracies around election results. Again. This time, in California.
Before I elaborate on his latest lies, will you rush in a contribution before my end-of-month deadline to make sure that when Donald Trump loses in California, we will have the resources to respond to his attacks on election integrity?
In a truly ridiculous interview with Dr. Phil, Trump said the following.
“I look at California, I gave a speech and I had a crowd so big, I said there’s no way I could lose California. But automatically they mark it down if you’re a Republican as a loss. That you lose by 5 million votes. I guarantee, if Jesus came down and was the vote counter, I would win California… if we had an honest vote counter, I would win California… It’s very dishonest, everything is mail-in…”
Here’s the truth, Donald:
In 2016, you lost California by over 4.2 million votes.
In 2020, you lost California by over 5.1 million votes.
And this year, you’re going to lose California — fair and square — to California’s own Kamala Harris.
Trump is planting seeds of doubt in our electoral process because he cares only about himself and will tear down the house if he loses again. He will undermine our democracy and attack election officials rather than admit that more than half of American voters have rejected him not once, but twice — and are ready to reject him a third time. He also thinks that re-election may be the one thing that can keep him a step ahead of the jailor.
