CO-CHAIR RESIGNATION

We want to thank Margot R. for her 3 and a half years of service and steadfast leadership as co-chair of Sacramento DSA. Margot was instrumental in keeping our chapter active and involved in local politics through a majority of the pandemic. She has resigned to focus on her job with the Dr. Flo for Mayor campaign. We wish her the best of luck and hope to see her soon at one of the many upcoming Dr. Flo for Mayor campaign events.

CO-CHAIR VACANCY

We now have a vacancy for 1 of the 2 co-chair positions.

If you're interested in running for co-chair, please use this form to declare your candidacy or to nominate another member of Sacramento DSA. Members that are nominated by another member of the chapter will be notified and can accept or decline by the nomination deadline, Sept. 14, 2024.

This is an interim position, which the winning candidate will fill until the chapter Steering Committee Elections in November of this year.

Responsibilities: Co-chairs are charged with drafting the agenda for all Steering Committee business meetings and all General Membership meetings. They assume ultimate responsibility for the actions and operations of the local chapter. Both co-chairs are expected to attend all Steering Committee and General Membership meetings. At all meetings, one co-chair must assume parliamentary responsibilities while the other runs the meeting.

LAWN SIGN DISTRIBUTION DAY

Stop by to pick up a Dr. Flo for Mayor lawn sign.

Dr. Flo is an epidemiologist, policy director, and advocate for change. She's running for mayor to build a Sacramento where all of our families can thrive, not just those at the top.
