John, tomorrow marks the end of August -- and with it, our end-of-month fundraising deadline.
It is hard to believe that summer is nearly over. So much has happened in our race to elect the first woman to represent CA-30:
- I have been hitting the campaign trail! Whether attending local events, meeting with local organizers, or just talking to voters in this district, the work never stops. There is nothing more important than listening to the people that I will represent in Congress.
- Our campaign has received critical endorsements and gained serious momentum. Giffords, a leading national organization electing people committed to ending gun violence, and End Citizens United, committed to getting big money out of politics, have thrown support behind this campaign -- along with the numerous elected officials like Senator Laphonza Butler and community leaders from the district.
- CA-30 MUST be held to take the House majority. With four seats standing between Democrats and the House majority, we can’t allow CA-30 to be in play.
