John— it’s Frank Mrvan, the Democratic nominee for Indiana’s First Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives.

My team and I are up against our August end-of-month deadline. It is absolutely vital that we meet this goal.

Before I tell you more, do you have a minute to chip in just $5 or whatever you can spare to ensure we hit our deadline tomorrow?

I know you’re getting a lot of fundraising emails right now, but I need you to understand that grassroots donations are what keep this campaign going.

Last cycle, national Republicans poured millions of dollars into Northwest Indiana to prop up my extremist opponent and smear my record. My team tells me they’re gearing up to do the same thing this cycle.

Up against the national, far-right interests, I take pride that we’ve built a people-powered movement, John. At this crucial moment, I’m counting on my supporters to ensure that my campaign has the financial resources it needs.

We are in the home stretch right now. I know that nobody wants to wake up on Wednesday, November 6th, wishing we had knocked on more doors or talked to more voters about getting results for Northwest Indiana.

That’s why we need to hit every goal, especially around deadlines like these.

John, the truth is I wish I didn’t have to ask, but my team and I are relying on a strong show of grassroots support right now. Can we count on you to chip in anything before tomorrow at midnight?

Thank you, John. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate it.
