Dear Friend,
I appreciate your reading this weekly update and continue to encourage you to forward to your family and friends. As always if you need anything from my office, you can reach me via my Contact page or by calling 202-225-5031.
Around the District
This month, I have been traveling across the Third Congressional District of Mississippi meeting with constituents. I am thankful for my fellow Mississippians and their hard work throughout our communities. Every time I visit with residents of our great state, I am encouraged that the best is yet to come in Mississippi. Here are a few highlights of the places my staff and I have been.
I was honored to tour and speak at Entergy Nuclear Headquarters in Jackson last week.
I enjoyed meeting with Kirby Mayfield and his team at the Mississippi Rural Water Association. I’m thankful for the work that they do to support rural communities across our state.
While in Walthall County for a Constituent Services Day, my staff enjoyed visiting with a group of Vietnam Veterans. Thank you to all those who served in Vietnam for your service to our country.
I was honored to meet with the Mississippi Roadbuilders Association. I shared about the work our Congressional Delegation is doing in Washington and discussed the need to prioritize infrastructure as we grow our economy and create new jobs throughout our state.
I enjoyed visiting with Max Luter and his crew at Luter’s Supply Company in Tylertown. Max is doing great things for his community.
Talking with Your Local Media
This week, I joined the Magee News for a conversation about my work in Washington, D.C., and around the Third Congressional District. Thank you, Sue, for taking the time to talk with me. You can watch the interview here.
I also joined SuperTalk MS this week and gave them a D.C. update. You can watch it here.
Coffee with the Congressman
Recently, I hosted a breakfast at my Brandon office. I truly serve the best constituents in America, and I am thankful for each person who stopped by.
