Friends and allies,

On Monday, we celebrate Labor Day! We’re taking the opportunity to reflect on all that working people and the labor movement do to keep our economy, public institutions, and democracy running.

CLU is proud to to contribute to the long history of labor organizing in Massachusetts. Today, we are part of Greater Boston’s multi-racial working class movement, fighting for a better world for all workers and our families.

This Labor Day, alongside our partners in the Green Justice Coalition ([link removed]) [link removed] Care That Works Coalition ([link removed]) , we are honoring workers by:
* F ([link removed]) ighting for project labor agreements ([link removed]) [link removed] the climate infrastructure we need for a livable future and pathways to good careers for women and people of color.
* Organizing to ensure that childcare workers, including in the informal sector, get the respect and the pay they deserve ([link removed]) .
* Buildinghttp://[link removed] to non-standard hour childcare ([link removed]) in industries where workers start early or end late.
