Are you a frontline worker? Beginning tomorrow, you can get tested for COVID-19 in Long Beach for free. Whether you have coronavirus symptoms or not, frontline workers can now get tested if you are concerned you have potentially been exposed to COVID-19.
If you are working at a grocery store, are a healthcare worker, public safety officer, refuse worker, or one of the many people still showing up to work at our restaurants to help keep us fed, we want you to have access to a test.
Testing for non-symptomatic frontline workers will be available at two Long Beach locations starting April 30:

For anyone who does have symptoms, whether you are an essential worker or not, please schedule an appointment to get tested at one of these locations:

Any resident, regardless of symptoms or type of work, can schedule an appointment now at:

Appointments are required and priority goes to those with symptoms and essential workers. Please make sure you visit www.longbeach.gov/covid19 <[link removed]> and click on the testing page to get all the info.
Long Beach now has the ability to test more than 1,000 people a day, which is critical to getting our economy moving again.
We hope to continue expanding testing to all residents across Long Beach soon.
The expanded testing is made possible by Governor Gavin Newsom and the work the State has been doing to add more than 80 community testing sites across the California.
