John, I have an uncontroversial statement to make:
No one, especially the President of the United States of America, should be above the law.
Simple, right? Apparently, the far-right-dominated Supreme Court didn’t think so.
For the first time in American history, a majority of Supreme Court justices were appointed by presidents who lost the popular vote (George W. Bush in 2000 and Donald Trump in 2016) — and last month, the Court’s majority ruled in Trump’s favor, giving him broad immunity for “official acts” he took as president.
Defending our Senate majority and defeating Trump has never been more important than in this election. Please chip in $10 to help.

In her Trump v. United States dissent, Justice Sonia Sotomayor described the far-right ruling as a “loaded weapon” for any president who chooses to put their own interests above the nations.
John, if that sounds anything like Donald Trump, then you understand how important it is that we defeat him in November.
So let’s do it. Please chip in $10 to help.
With love and gratitude,
Cory
