John,
Before you read any further, I want you to know that this campaign, our team, and I are very aware of the challenges our country faces and the difficult financial situation so many Americans must now endure. Our number one concern is for your safety and health as we collectively combat this virus.
Effective and pragmatic leadership has never been so important in Washington as it is today. I’m so incredibly proud of the work that Abigail has done already, and continues to do every day, to fight for everyone in Central Virginia –– from the frontline healthcare workers, food delivery staff, and postal employees, to the small businesses in need of support. Her leadership continues to make me proud to work for her and on this campaign.
As we face this public health and economic crisis, our campaign must also prepare for the November election. While we have canceled many fundraising events, we still need to communicate Abigail’s message across all 10 counties of our district.
John, I’m going to ask you if you can make a small contribution to our ongoing work because even though this period seems uncertain, we know this is going to be one of the most competitive and most expensive races in the country.
In these uncertain times, we understand that families have had to substantially change their routines and plans. If you can make a small contribution to our campaign, you’ll be joining the thousands of grassroots donors across the country helping Abigail stay in Congress.

We greatly appreciate your support.
Thank you,
Whitney
