THEN: The Republicans' biggest super PAC dropped $1.6 million on TV attack ads against TJ Cox. That's a massive sum this early in the race.

NOW: There's only one day until our end-of-month fundraising deadline, and we're still coming up exactly $14,331 short of our goal. That's a much bigger gap than we expected to see.
