It’s crunch time. This end-of-month deadline is truly make-or-break. It is the last before campaign ads begin at full volume. If you only have a moment, here is the link to help with our deadline. But I did want to give you an update on where things stand.

Our opponent’s strategy is very simple: to have more volume than we do. To drown out the truth with lies; to overpower patriotism with cynicism; to make the voice of far-left out-of-state funders more influential than patriotic California citizens.

Our strategy is simpler: to get out the truth. And we can’t count on the media to get it out for us. If we don’t have the budget to reach voters at scale through every medium – TV, radio, Facebook, YouTube, door-knocking, phone calls – then our opponent’s lies will go unanswered.

With the Kamala Harris switch, Democrats have seen an unprecedented fundraising windfall – and our opponent has benefited enormously. She is getting huge amounts of funding through “Act Blue.” And it is coming at the very worst time.

As we speak, the Morse campaign is readying their assault. We have already seen previews of their attack ads – and believe me, shame is not a constraint on what they are willing to say or do. Eric Swallwell’s campaign manager is running her campaign; Adam Schiff is filming spots for her.

Morse’s 5 years of loyal service to Gavin Newsom, where she was his “Deputy Secretary” and cheered on his vaccine and mask mandates throughout his COVID reign, is being rewarded in spades. That is why, with this deadline upon is, I urgently need your help.

Here’s what makes our predicament so challenging:

First, Morse has the unified support of the National Democrats, who know we won the decisive 218th GOP seat in 2022 that ended Pelosi’s tenure as Speaker. They have specifically said their path to retaking the Majority runs through California, meaning our Majority-making district.

Second, Morse has the unified support of the Gavin Newsom political operation. Newsom is not happy that he keeps losing to us, that we keep thwarting his plans; he’s now especially bitter that his presidential delusions were burst. Morse made it clear on the first day of her campaign that her job is to do Newsom’s bidding, saying: “Kevin Kiley is a problem.”

Third, Morse has the unified support of the Kamala Harris political operation. We can be sure Kamala’s campaign does not like the way we’ve been exposing her real record in California. We are an obstacle to their goal of gliding by without scrutiny.

Fourth, our record of actually getting results in DC, and holding Biden’s corrupt cabinet accountable, has given the DCCC and related entities an added reason to target our district. They are ok with Republicans who go with the flow; they can’t stand Republicans who shake things up.

Any one of these four factors would put us in a tough reelection battle. With the confluence of all four, it is going to be an all-out fight to the finish. We are squarely at the center of the battlefield for control of the House, and we truly need every last bit of support we can get.

We have accomplished so much together. We have brought our movement of California citizens, parents, and patriots to the Capitol, and we have created a path back to sanity for California. But if they take us out this election, it could all be for naught. We could face the nightmare of Morse in Congress, Newsom in the Governor’s office, and Kamala at the White House.
