Newsletter September 2024

Dear Friends,

Migration stories shape our modern societies, as individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds seek a sense of belonging. While cultural diversity is celebrated, new social boundaries are also forming. The Goethe-Institut’s hybrid “Longing/Belonging” festival showcases artistic works and social discussions from Germany and North America, exploring these themes. Be among the first to explore our brand-new Longing/Belonging website, featuring thought-provoking and exciting online and in-person events.
In September and October, we’re also celebrating 70 Years of German Film with a curated series of five films that capture the spirit of German cinema. Don’t miss out on these exciting events!

Best regards,
Klaus Krischok
