Survivor Alliance Pembrook Fellowship
Applications for the Survivor Alliance Pembrook Fellowship are now open! This unique program provides survivors of human trafficking with a year-long employment placement across the U.S. while also boosting the capacity of host organizations to employ survivors.

The Fellowship is designed to foster partnerships between survivors and allies by matching nonprofit organizations in the anti-trafficking sector with survivor leaders based on their skills, interests, and values. Fellows receive leadership training, competitive salaries, health benefits, peer support, and collective space to explore organizational trauma literacy as they take on their roles.

New Bill to Improve Access
to Continued Presence
Last month, the Continued Presence Improvement Act was introduced in Congress. The bill would provide much-needed changes to the Continued Presence program that would help ensure non-US citizen survivors have access to its critical benefits. Continued Presence is a form of temporary immigration relief that allows survivors who file a civil case or assist with an investigation or prosecution protection from removal, work authorization, and access to critical services. FNUSA and some of our partner members, including the Maryland SAFE Center, worked closely with Congress to ensure this bill would provide stronger protections for survivors.

"Continued Presence is a critical protection for human trafficking survivors that has been greatly underutilized. Foreign national survivors who are not offered protection from removal are often afraid to seek help and remain in trafficking situations longer," said Freedom Network USA Senior Policy Specialist, Emma Ecker.

World Day Against Trafficking
July 30th was World Day Against Trafficking. On this day, FNUSA stood in solidarity with others around the world to spread awareness and end the horrific crime of human trafficking.

Thank you to everyone who supported us and, more importantly, the survivors that we serve!

Your support enables us to mobilize our collective strength to build a transformative approach to human trafficking that is grounded in anti-racism and anti-oppression.

Without you, we could not work to ensure that survivors have what they need to thrive, including access to holistic services that are available to all!

We are committed to dismantling harmful systems that create vulnerability. We hope that we continue to have your support.
Make a Difference!
Help build something bigger than yourself.

Every person who supports FNUSA and the survivors we serve is helping to build a transformative approach to human trafficking. We're so grateful for your support!
