Folks—I’m stressed. My campaign team just called me to share that we're still $51,947 short of our August fundraising goal.
I’ll explain more in a moment, but first I have to ask: Will you make a split donation of any amount right now between my campaign and Seth Moulton to help us close the gap before our end-of-month deadline? [[link removed]]
Mitch McConnell is flooding in millions of dollars to smear my record and boost his handpicked candidate. Unfortunately, these attacks are working: The latest polls have this race wide open.
Look, I’ve never been your typical politician. I’m a farmer. I grew up in a twenty-four-by-thirty-six foot house. I still farm the land my parents homesteaded 100 years ago. (Sharla and I are harvesting as we speak.)
I try every day to do right by the people of Montana. That means standing up to anybody—including Mitch McConnell and his special interests—to improve health care for veterans, lower prescription drug costs, and protect Medicare and Social Security.
But if I don’t get more grassroots support before the end of August, there’s a very real chance our team could miss our goal. Mitch McConnell and outside groups are spending nearly $90 million to buy this Senate seat—and the only thing that can stop them is you.
As much as I hate asking, I have to: Can I count on you to make a split donation of $10 between Seth Moulton and my campaign before our end-of-month goal? When we win in November, it’ll be because folks like you. [[link removed]]
Thank you for your support,
Jon
