This is an emergency call to action. It’s a hard government deadline. The NIH plans to amputate and kill 21 cats! Read below to take action or unsubscribe.

Good afternoon,

Kitten #TA’s story cut out my heart. (If you keep reading, you’ll see how evil NIH-funded white coats cut off his leg).

But before you do… a personal note.

I want to quickly preface the rest of my email by saying I appreciate that not everyone is able to donate to every fundraiser. Times are tough. Inflation is rough. I get it.

This doesn’t change how VERY thankful I am for your support.

Taxpayer, this is an expensive campaign. We’ve got big bills: investigations, media, advertising, litigation, lobbying. That stuff costs a lot of money.

And we haven’t covered our budget yet.

At this point, the only way we can afford to continue campaigning for the immediate cancellation of NIH experiment #R44AR079960 is if we can get another 806 grassroots supporters to give $21.

Or, if a lot more folks chip in just $2.10—only ten cents per cat.

If we must pause our efforts due to lack of funding, NIH will proceed with another round of amputations.

I am grateful that we uncovered this experiment in time to save the NIH 21… most lab cats aren’t so lucky.

So Taxpayer, if you can afford it, I kindly plead that you follow this secure link and rush an emergency gift to save the NIH 21 right now.

These kitties deserve better than to die alone in a metal cage. Don’t you agree?

P.S. If you’re not able to donate today, I understand. Thank you for all you do to help cats and animals in taxpayer-funded labs.

Please follow this secure link to chip in $2.10 (only ten cents per cat!) to save the lives—and limbs—of 21 more kittens.
