Hey friend, it’s Ruben’s wife, Sydney.

When Ruben and I were first talking about whether he’d run for Senate, I had a pretty good idea of what to expect.

I knew it’d be tough. I knew he’d have to spend a lot of time away from home, out on the campaign trail. I knew that it would mean a lot of attention directed at Ruben, at our family. And I knew that eventually the attack ads would start.

But nothing prepares you to see a former President of the United States attack your husband on stage at a rally in front of thousands of his most devoted supporters.

That’s not easy to watch.

One thing that’s given both of us a lot of solace during tough moments like that has been you. You and this whole team we’ve built.

It means the world to Ruben that you’re on this team, and I know he’d never ask for more than he absolutely needs to win this race. But right now, he really needs your help.

A ton of negative ads just started running in Arizona, launched by some shady Super PAC. They’re spending $8.25 million against Ruben, and the ads are running as we speak. That’s the kind of advertising that can do serious damage, and it’s coming right after Trump personally attacked Ruben.

If Ruben’s going to come up with the resources we need to fight back, it’s going to need to come from supporters like you and emails like this. That’s how we’ll win. So, please, if you can:

Can you please make a contribution to Ruben’s campaign and help him take back Arizona’s seat in the U.S. Senate? He can’t do this all by himself. We really need you today.

I know I said it already, but your support really does mean a lot to both of us.

Thank you in advance for anything you can do to help.
