Team — I wanted to make sure you had a chance to see Ross’s email. Our campaign is doing everything it can to adapt to this crisis. And in Congress, I am fighting day and night to ensure that our community has the resources it needs to weather this crisis. But now, if you are in a position to do so, I need your help. While financial resources are critical to our campaign, there are plenty of other ways to get involved if you are unable to donate at this time! Here’s the link to learn more: https://voteyvette.com/get-involved As Ross said, tomorrow at midnight is a critical deadline for this campaign, and we still have to raise another $2,925.21 to close the gap in our budget. So please, if you can, could you chip in just $5 dollars to help us close the gap? You can use this link right here to help: https://secure.actblue.com/donate/YCNY-09-Email-April2020-FR-EoM29?refcode=E2520-20200429-EoM29PM-SL&amount=10 No matter how you’re able to help us out, please know I appreciate it. Friend — With everything going on, I hope this email finds you in good health and good spirits. As Yvette’s Finance Director, my job is to ensure the campaign has what it needs to keep our operations going. And while this crisis has caused us to drastically change our plans, our campaign has not skipped a beat. Instead of door knocking, we’re having volunteers text and call voters from the safety of their own home to check in on folks and see if they know about resources available to them. Instead of in-person events, we’ve held countless virtual meet and greets so voters can get a chance to hear from Yvette and ask questions about the work she’s doing in Congress. The only problem is, making these changes require a lot of upfront costs — many of which we were not planning for. So I am here to ask you directly to help us. → I know so many have been financially impacted by this crisis and are not in a position to give. Please know that your vote, your safety and health means the world to us.
Thank you so much for your help,
Ross Williams
