John — It’s Jeremy, Eugene’s campaign manager. I have good news and bad news.
The good news is that over the past few days, our pro-democracy movement has had an influx of support. Folks from all walks of life who share our values have contributed to our grassroots, people-powered campaign and have raised their hand to say their support for Eugene.
It’s folks like Diana, a Teacher from Brooklyn, Mark, an Engineer from Alexandria, and Joan, a Receptionist from Providence, who helped show the power and strength of our pro-democracy movement before our critical August fundraising deadline.
The bad news is that despite the overwhelming support we have received over the past few days, we’re still pacing behind our deadline goal.
But, we still have time to get there, John — less than 48 hours left. But if you can give your $3 today, we have a solid chance of catching up.
