Kamala's Last Second Rule Change Request Denied By ABC, Her Campaign Keeps
Pushing

ABC News rejected Vice President Kamala Harris's last-minute request to change
the rules for the upcoming presidential debate with former President Donald
Trump on September 10.

Harris's campaign wanted both candidates' microphones to be unmuted for the
entire 90-minute debate.

ABC decided to stick with the "CNN rules" used in Trump's June debate against
President Biden, which include muted mics when a candidate is not speaking.

Harris' spokesman, Brian Fallon, expressed frustration with the decision and
accused Trump's team of not trusting him to debate Harris with unmuted mics.

The Trump campaign had insisted on following the same rules as the June debate
with Biden.

The debate is set to take place at Philadelphia's National Constitution
Center, with both candidates allowed only a pen, paper, and water bottle on
stage.Read More.

Did Kamala Lie About Working At McDonald’s?

Vice President Kamala Harris recently claimed she worked at McDonald's during
college, but this detail was never mentioned in her public life until she ran
for president in 2019.

The McDonald's job is absent from Harris's earlier memoirs, job applications,
and biographies written about her.

Harris's campaign has provided varying accounts of why she worked at
McDonald's, ranging from paying for college to earning spending money.

The campaign has not provided specific details about when or where Harris
worked at McDonald's, despite media inquiries.

Unlike other politicians who proudly discuss their early jobs, there's a lack
of corroborating evidence or details about Harris's alleged McDonald's
employment.Read More.

Pain At The Pump: Gas Prices Have Increased 50% Since Kamala Has Been In The
White House

Gas prices have increased by 50% since Vice President Kamala Harris took
office in January 2021, according to U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics data.

The highest recorded average price for regular unleaded gasoline was $5.016 on
June 14, 2022, during the Biden-Harris administration.

Currently, the average gas price is $3.361, which is still nearly $1.00 more
than when former President Donald Trump left office.

Democrats have attributed rising prices to factors such as Russia's invasion
of Ukraine, Covid-related supply issues, and oil company practices rather than
taking responsibility.

Other auto-related costs have also increased significantly since January
2021, including car insurance premiums (up 54%), new car prices (up 19%), and
vehicle maintenance and repair costs (up 30%).

Kamala has notably expressed support for Green New Deal policies, which
include phasing out fossil fuels.Read More.

Court Ruling Threatens 15% Of U.S. Oil Production As Biden-Harris
Administration Embraces Potential Gulf Drilling Ban

A recent court order could potentially ban all oil drilling activity in the
Gulf of Mexico, which accounts for about 15% of U.S. oil production.

The issue stems from a complex intersection of environmental laws and a
biological assessment that began during the Trump administration.

A U.S. District Court in Maryland struck down the National Marine Fisheries
Service's biological assessment, ordering a new one to be completed by December
20.

The Biden-Harris administration appears to be doing little to challenge the
court ruling, potentially using it as a means to restrict Gulf drilling.

Vice President Kamala Harris, the 2024 Democratic presidential nominee, is
known for her strong opposition to the oil industry.

The Gulf oil industry significantly contributes to the U.S. economy and
provides hundreds of thousands of jobs.Read More.

Bill Offering $150,000 To Help Illegals Buy Homes Gets Sent To Gavin Newsom's
Desk

A bill passed by the California state legislature would make some illegal
immigrants eligible for up to $150,000 in cash assistance to buy homes through
the California Dream for All program.

The bill, AB 1840, has been sent to Governor Gavin Newsom's desk for
consideration.

Supporters argue that eligible illegal immigrants are taxpayers who should
have access to the program, while opponents believe resources should prioritize
American citizens.

Economists warn that providing housing subsidies without increasing housing
supply could raise prices for everyone.

Governor Newsom has until September 30 to sign or veto the bill, and his
office has not commented on pending legislation.

The bill comes amid California's ongoing housing shortage, despite Newsom's
2017 campaign promise to build 3.5 million new homes by 2035.Read More.

Brian Kemp Weighs Removal Of GOP Members Over Democrat Accusations Of Ethics
Violations

Georgia Governor Brian Kemp is consulting with the state's attorney general
about potentially removing three Republican State Election Board (SEB) members.

This consultation follows a Democrat-led complaint alleging ethics violations
by the SEB members over their efforts to secure elections.

The complaint accuses the SEB members of adopting rules that interfere with
free and fair elections, coordinating illegally with the Georgia Republican
Party, and participating in a secretly planned meeting.

Supporters of the SEB members claim the complaint is part of an "intimidation
campaign" and argue that the new rules simply allow county officials to verify
election results before certification.

One of the accused SEB members, Janelle King, denies the allegations and
states they acted in good faith.

Critics of the complaint, including the Election Transparency Initiative,
urge Governor Kemp to reject what they call "frivolous process complaints."Read

Poll: Majority of Americans Say the American Dream is Dead

A new Wall Street Journal/NORC poll found that only about one-third of U.S.
adults believe the American Dream is still alive.

The survey shows a growing gap between people's economic goals and what they
believe is attainable, especially among younger generations.

Only 10% of respondents believe becoming a homeowner is "easy or somewhat
easy," despite 89% viewing it as essential or important.

Home prices have reached an all-time high, with U.S. home prices up more than
1,000 percent since 1974.

Real estate investors bought 26.1% of low-priced U.S. homes in the fourth
quarter, contributing to the housing crisis.Read More.

Schools Have to Take Drastic Measures to Keep Illegal Immigrants From Storming
Buses

A California school district has implemented a new policy to avoid bus stops
where large numbers of illegal immigrants are present.

The decision follows two incidents near San Diego where groups of illegal
immigrants attempted to board or stop school buses.

In one incident, three men tried to stop a bus on Highway 94, forcing the
driver to navigate around them.

Another incident involved about 20 illegal immigrants attempting to storm a
bus, with parents helping to prevent unauthorized boarding.

The school district has reported these incidents to local and state law
enforcement, as well as U.S. Border Patrol.

Superintendent Liz Bystedt advised parents to follow buses to the next stop
if their usual stop is bypassed due to the presence of illegal immigrants. Read

Veteran D.C. Police Officer Killed by Tragic Self-Inflicted Gunshot

D.C. police officer Wayne David died from an accidental self-inflicted gunshot
wound while trying to recover a weapon from a storm drain.

The incident occurred after officers responded to reports of a suspicious
vehicle, and a suspect fled the scene after ditching a gun in the drain.

David, a 25-year veteran and crime scene search officer, was trained in
recovering evidence and firearms.

Police Chief Pamela A. Smith praised David as a dedicated and highly respected
member of the department.

The suspect who ditched the gun is still at large, and police have released an
image of him.

There is no indication that the suspect knew the motorcyclist whose vehicle
he used to escape.Read More.

UK's Labour Government Wants to Ban Outdoor Smoking

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has expressed support for banning smoking
in certain outdoor areas, including pub gardens, sports stadiums, and near
hospitals and universities.

Starmer aims to reduce preventable deaths, alleviate the burden on the
National Health Service (NHS), and decrease costs to taxpayers.

The Labour Party, which recently won the general election, plans to implement
some of the world's strictest anti-smoking regulations.

Smoking was banned in most indoor public spaces in Britain in 2007, leading to
a significant decrease in smokers and smoking-related health issues.

The hospitality industry in Britain has expressed concerns that stricter
smoking bans could lead to the closure of some businesses.

Medical and healthcare professionals support imposing tougher restrictions on
smokers, as smoking costs the British health services an estimated 17 billion
pounds annually.Read More.

What’s Next

Last night on CNN, Kamala Harris had her first sitdown interview as a
presidential nominee. Incapabable of carrying the interview herself, she had
Tim Walz by her side, like some kind of emotional support animal.

Naturally, it was a prerecorded interview. Even the Harris campaign knows
there’s far too much risk in a live back-and-forth.

Kamala and her unsightly running mate are, to borrow a term, weird.

They are off-putting and come off as transparent radicals — because they are.

But that’s beside the point.

At one point during the interview, CNN's Dana Bash pressed Kamala to explain
her many flip-flops on issues like energy and immigration. Kamala’s non-answer
was that “her values have not changed.”

What does that even mean?

Expect the media to take this total deflection from Harris and paint it as a
positive. They’ll say Kamala’s about-face on the issues is a positive
“evolution” and shows she’s willing to change with the times.

They’ll tell you all about her “moderate” policy approaches and how
middle-of-the-road she is. They’ll insist she wants a secure border. It’ll be
the usual, stupid spin we’ve come to expect from the awful media.

Trump, of course, will still be a threat to democracy and while the media
worship the ground Kamala walks on, they'll still be talking about
"insurrection" on cable news every night.

The only question is whether or not voters will be able to see through it.
