There he goes again. 

My liberal, career politician opponent used the COVID-19 pandemic as a launching pad for a political attack — for the third time. 

I’ve been reaching out on Twitter and thanking Americans who are stepping up during this crisis — donating masks and face shields, sending meals to organizations across Detroit, you name it. 

The President noticed, retweeting one of my posts. 

Instead of joining me in celebrating these charitable acts, my opponent pounced on the moment for political gain — effectively clipping the President’s tweet and smearing me as far-right. 

Help me fight back!
 

This kind of attack is exactly why we’ve outraised him for three straight quarters. Voters are looking for leadership during this crisis, not desperate and partisan attacks. 

My opponent knows his days in the Senate are numbered. He knows he can’t match our grassroots momentum and that’s why he’s reaching for these kinds of bottom-of-the-barrel political attacks during the worst public health crisis in decades.

Folks -- Donald Trump tweeted his support for my opponent, who’s pledged to support the president’s far-right agenda “2000%.”

Donald Trump wants to get rid of me because he knows a win in Michigan guarantees that the GOP will hold the Senate for at least two more years -- and with millions of dollars flooding into our state from Mitch McConnell, Betsy DeVos' family and Donald Trump himself, there’s never been a more important time for us to fight back.
