Dear John
Exciting news is coming from our state branches, with three major
updates and a surprise that will certainly delight many of our
supporters in a particular state.
Recently, the Electoral Commission of Queensland (ECQ) conducted a
snap audit of our member list, requiring us to have at least 500
members. Our Queensland supporters rose to the occasion, and thanks to
the overwhelming response from our extensive base, we passed
the audit within just twenty-four hours. A massive thank you
to everyone who responded!
If you are a Queenslander and didn’t receive an email from the ECQ,
don’t worry—they likely sent them out in batches until we met the
required number.
In Western Australia, our branch has just received formal
notification this week that they are now officially
registered. The membership test for registration in Western
Australia is significantly more rigorous than Queensland.
Our success in WA is a testament to the dedication of our Western
Australian team, who worked tirelessly over many months to complete
the necessary paperwork. Thank you to everyone involved as we gear up
for the March 2025 WA election.
In Victoria, our branch is preparing for a membership test in the
coming weeks—the second in just 12 months. Our members have been doing
an outstanding job building support for our movement in Victoria, and
we are confident that, just like last time, we will successfully pass
this challenging test for a second time.
Now, for the surprise: Senator Hanson has indicated that she is
exploring the re-registration of our party in
Tasmania. The state has been abandoned by the major parties,
and many Tasmanians are disillusioned by a party that simply rolled
over and handed the Liberals everything they wanted. Tasmanians want
grit, determination, and fighters in parliament—not major party
lackeys.

Many were astonished to learn that the JLN was elected to the
Tasmanian parliament without releasing a single policy, relying
instead on the “vibe” to make decisions about policy and laws (‘the
vibe’ being a direct quote from the ex-JLN MPs). A similar situation
is evolving in Queensland, the Liberals have yet to release a single
policy. In contrast, One Nation released its state policy suite for
Queensland back in February.
Tasmanians deserve better, and One Nation is ready to deliver.
Pauline Hanson has stood by Australians for over 30 years, and she’s
in it for the long haul. While our party has faced challenges, that’s
part of what makes us stronger. Just because we have faced challenges
doesn’t mean you abandon a state to the major parties.
Nor do challenges mean you vacate the field and allow the Greens to
prosper electorally, ruining everything they touch.
One Nation has a clear set of policies that have evolved and
modernised over three decades. Our core principles have remained
steadfast, and our MPs are elected based on values that have been
articulated by our party from day one—something other minor parties
can’t claim. We are guided by deeply rooted ideology, underpinned by
well-constructed policy that informs our voting positions.

Queensland is getting a Sun Tax, yep you
heard that right. Hold onto your hat and hear what a horrific mess the
Liberals and Labor have gotten us into this time.
