Friends,
My team and I have much to share from recent work.
On Monday, I was honored to attend the wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington Cemetery for the 13 servicemembers killed during Biden-Harris’ disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan three years ago. Read my statement here.
Last weekend, I attended the Ramona Rodeo and was able to connect with vendors and fellow attendees. Preserving and defending this tradition is why I started the Congressional Rodeo Caucus.
My team stopped by to thank the North County Fire Protection District for their service to the area and present the station with a new Capitol-flown U.S. flag.
In furtherance of Second Amendment rights, I introduced the Modern Firearm Safety Act to stop states like California from creating unconstitutional “handgun rosters.” Ruled by the courts to be unconstitutional, my bill will codify it for all law-abiding citizens. Read more about the bill here.
Finally, I joined Rep. Andy Biggs in objecting to the recent bail offered to several illegal immigrants on the terror watch list charged with trying to breach the Quantico Marine Corps Base. The border insanity is a clear and growing threat to national security. Read the letter here.
As always, it is an honor to serve as your representative in Congress. For more information, please visit my website at www.issa.house.gov.
