We’ve sent several fundraising emails ahead of Eugene's August fundraising deadline. We hope you’ll take that as a sign of just how important this drive is.

But you deserve to know more. Give us a chance to explain:

As you read this, Eugene is being pummeled with attacks from his MAGA opponent. And his opponent is not alone — he has the might of Trump, MAGA mega-donors, and Super PACs behind him, all fighting to defeat us. That should come as no surprise.

What you may not know is that the majority of the donations Eugene receives in this race come from everyday folks chipping in small amounts when they can. He’s very proud of that fact. Humbled, even.

And like any good campaign, we have fundraising goals we need to reach in order to win. Big ones, especially because our opponent has Trump behind him.

So these goals are NOT arbitrary. If we don’t hit them, we won’t have the resources we need to win in November.

But because most of the donations we receive come from emails like this, we have to ask. And since we are still short of our August fundraising goals, today is one of those days:
