John
As both your State Senator and a fellow Virginian, I want to express my deep concern about a troubling situation in our Botetourt County Library system. It has come to my attention that certain books are being made available to our children and teenagers that not only promote explicit content as a means to learn about sexuality but also push a progressive, revisionist version of history.
For example, one book suggests that Abraham Lincoln was homosexual, Eleanor Roosevelt—a distinguished First Lady—was a lesbian, and Joan of Arc was a transvestite. These distortions of history are not only misleading but also entirely inappropriate for the young minds in our community.
This kind of material has no place in our libraries where our children can easily access it. I'm advocating for these books to be either removed or, at the very least, placed in a restricted section where access can be carefully monitored. Let me be clear: I am not calling for a ban or the burning of books. However, ensuring that our children are not exposed to such harmful content is a responsibility we must take seriously.
If you share my commitment to protecting our community's values, I ask that you consider making a contribution of $250, $100, $50, or even $25. Your support will enable me to utilize campaign resources to advocate effectively for this cause.

Let's stand together against the progressive agenda that seeks to rewrite our history and mislead our children. Join me in taking action today.
