This is special, friend — it’s officially been over a year since we launched this campaign for U.S. Senate.

For the last year, we've been fighting hard to reach Floridians and speak to who Rick Scott truly is: a failed leader who has put the extremist policies of Donald Trump and his own self-interest above all else. Floridians are catching on, as Rick Scott's approval rating is abysmally tanking.

But this was never just about Rick Scott. It's about you, the people, in Florida — and all over the nation — who deserve a true public servant looking out for your interests. Service has, and always will be, at the heart of everything I do. When I'm in the Senate, I'll fight with everything I have to move the needle on the issues that actually impact your everyday life.

And together, I know we can win and make a difference. So whether you've been on this team with me for the last 365 days, if you joined last week, or even if you joined today, I want to say this: Thank you so much. I couldn't have come this far without you, and I can't win on Election Day without you. I'm so grateful for your grassroots support.

This past year has been a whirlwind in all the best ways. I've toured all over Florida and spoke with so many amazing voters across our diverse, beautiful communities. I've spread our message across the airwaves, starting with Spanish ads. And thanks to our hard work, recent polling shows us statistically tied with Rick Scott.

But now is where the real work begins. I'm the official Democratic nominee for this Senate race, and with just 68 days to go, we must fight with everything we've got to win this race — because if we do, it will virtually guarantee a Democratic Senate majority.

So in celebration of our campaign's one-year anniversary and my securing the official Democratic nomination for Florida’s Senate seat, I'm personally asking for your support to help me finish the job this November: Will you become a Founding Donor with a weekly donation of $5 between me and Kirsten Gillibrand right now?
