Urge Governor Newsom to sign AB 2586 – Equal access to campus job opportunities for students regardless of immigration status

Dear John,

Please take a moment to sign this letter to Governor Newsom, urging him to sign AB 2586 into law. AB 2586, also known as the Opportunity for All Act, would allow California students equal access to campus job opportunities, regardless of their immigration status at all UC, CSU, and community college campuses.

Tens of thousands of California students are unjustly barred from obtaining paying jobs on campus solely due to their immigration status. AB 2586 would help ensure students have equal access to job opportunities they may need to provide financially for themselves as they work to earn their degrees.
