James — Bernie, Cori Bush, Jamaal Bowman, and many other progressives are warning the Democratic Party about what will happen if the Party fails to reject AIPAC and its right-wing donors.
The right-wing pro-Israel lobby is still targeting progressive candidates — heading into the general election in November and beyond.
AIPAC is having a dangerous impact on every facet of the Democratic Party. The Biden administration continues its near-total support of Netanyahu’s devastating war on Gaza. The DNC even denied Palestinian-Americans a speaking slot. And AIPAC spent tens of millions of dollars of MAGA money in Democratic primaries to defeat some of the strongest supporters of Palestinian human rights: Cori Bush and Jamaal Bowman.
The Democratic Party should NOT put up with a group of right-wing, Trump donors funding a super PAC to defeat progressives. It’s time for the Party to Reject AIPAC and its $100 million of anti-progressive campaign spending.

“They were bigoted, they were racist,” Bush said of AIPAC, which spent $9 million against her, including racist mailers featuring photoshopped pictures of Cori that distorted her face to make her forehead look bigger and elongate her features.
Bernie warned that AIPAC has an “intimidating presence” over every member of Congress, because as soon as a lawmaker criticizes Netanyahu’s bombing campaign against the Palestinian people, the pro-Israel lobby is ready to throw millions into a campaign to defeat them. Bernie also said of AIPAC, “I think they smell success.” If we allow the status quo to continue, AIPAC could defeat every single one of our progressive champions in Congress.
The bottom line is that AIPAC’s unlimited right-wing spending in our elections poses an existential threat to our movement.
It must be one of our top priorities to end the influence of big money in politics AND pressure the Democratic Party to reject the right-wing money of AIPAC in primaries.
