The Minnesota State Fair is on!

The State Fair brings out the best of Minnesota. Families coming together to enjoy the waning summer days. Talented food and hospitality workers providing delicious treats. People from all backgrounds spending time outdoors, having an absolute blast.

Here are some of this year’s highlights!

The firefighters made quite the splash at the State Fair last year, and I had a wonderful time meeting with these hard working heroes this year!

I always stop by the Minnesota Farmers Union and Minnesota Farm Bureau to say hello to the farmers who keep our state healthy and well-fed. And to greet some sweet animals, like this little piglet!

One of the best parts of the fair is trying the new food offerings. This year, I tried deep-fried ranch — and let me tell you, it was just as incredible as I imagined!

The kindness, creativity, and togetherness of the State Fair makes me so happy, john. It truly represents the best of Minnesota and why I love this state.

At the Fair, I also had time to talk to lots of voters about the stakes of this election. With less than 70 days until polls close in Minnesota, we’re running out of time to reach people and make sure they understand the stakes of the election.
