• Donald Trump ran for president in 2016 with this exact same rhetoric. He promised no cuts to Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid, then spent four years trying to dismantle them to do the bidding of his billionaire buddies.

• Trump spent a year trying to dismantle Medicaid and destroy Medicare with his Trumpcare plan.

• Every single budget Trump released as president called for cutting Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid.

• Trump unilaterally ordered the IRS to stop collecting Social Security and Medicare’s dedicated funding.

• His plan to end taxes on Social Security benefits would primarily benefit the rich at the expense of Social Security’s dedicated funding.

Kamala Harris, on the other hand:

• Has never proposed cutting Social Security or Medicare.

• Co-sponsored a bill to increase Social Security’s benefits in a way that extends Social Security’s dedicated funding by making millionaires and billionaires pay their fair share.

• Cast the tie-breaking vote to stop Big Pharma from ripping off Medicare with high drug prices, saving Medicare billions.

• Fought to expand Medicare to include dental, hearing, and vision coverage.
