John, last week was nothing short of extraordinary. The Democratic National Convention brought together the best of our party, and I’m still feeling the excitement from it all.
We have a real shot at keeping the White House and securing blue majorities in the House and Senate, but we have to keep the momentum going. In a minute, I'm going to share a little behind-the-scenes recap of my time at the convention, but if you'd like to go ahead and donate to help me elect Democrats up and down the ballot, you can follow this link >> [link removed]
Day 1: I had the honor of taking to the stage and speaking about how thankful I am for Joe Biden’s career in public service. We’ve accomplished so much during the Biden-Harris administration, but there’s still more to do. That’s why I also pledged my support for Kamala Harris as our next president. Hearing my dear friend Joe speak about his hope for the future was a powerful reminder of what’s at stake and what we can achieve.
Day 2: During the state’s roll call, I had the privilege of announcing Delaware’s delegates’ support for Kamala Harris alongside my friend and Delaware’s U.S. Senate candidate, Lisa Blunt Rochester. It was a proud moment, made even more inspiring by the powerful speeches from the Obamas, reminding us all that this November is crucial for protecting our democracy.
Day 3: We heard from our vice presidential nominee, Tim Walz, who outlined his and Kamala’s vision for the future. No wonder he was a beloved coach—his speech was an amazing rallying cry!
Day 4: The highlight of my week was watching Kamala Harris accept our nomination to be the 47th President of the United States. The room was on fire, and I could tell everyone in attendance was filled with excitement and determination. Seeing her on stage only reinforced my commitment to fight for our shared values.
We’re at a critical juncture in our nation’s history, and the convention made it clear: we have the vision, the leadership, and the will to win this. Now, it’s time to get to work. Will you help me build on our incredible momentum? Chip in $5 or whatever you can afford to help me fight for blue wins up and down the ballot >> [link removed]
