Dear Friend, 

As you have likely heard, Equality Virginia’s Transgender Information & Empowerment Summit (TIES) is BACK! For the first time since 2019, our community will gather in person in Richmond to connect, grow, and learn together. This one of a kind event is open to transgender, nonbinary, intersex, and gender expansive communities, along with their friends, family, advocates, and allies. This year’s TIES will feature a dynamic mix of panels, workshops, storytelling sessions, networking, empowerment clinics, and skill-building opportunities. 

We’re excited to welcome everyone back to TIES, but we can’t do it alone. WE NEED YOU!  

We’re building a robust team of volunteers to make this event a success. We invite all LGBTQ+ community members and allies ages 18+ to volunteer and support us in various ways throughout the day. Additionally, we invite organizations and businesses to participate in the TIES Resource Showcase!  This showcase is more than just a table or display–it’s an opportunity for you to connect enhance the impact of TIES and also demonstrate your commitment to fostering inclusivity and empowerment within the LGBTQ+ community.  Join us in creating a space where connections are made, lives are empowered, and every individual is celebrated for who they are.
